Water heating elements are used to heat various liquid media. They are widely used for heating a certain volume of liquid to the desired temperature. They may be used both in the household and in many areas of industry (in various branches of light, heavy and food industry, medicine). Water heating element is made of various materials, stainless steel, carbon steel, copper. Diameters are different – 8,5 mm, 10 mm, 13 mm; capacities – from 0,3 kW to 5,0 kW, depending on the expanded (active) length of heating element; nominal connections – from 12V to 420V, completed with fastening fittings) M12, M14x1.5, M16x1.5, M18x1.5, M20x1.5, M22x1.5. Water heating elements may be made with different dimensions and center distances. Boiler heaters are intended for heating liquids of various volumes, for domestic, industrial food boilers and mini-heaters, with a capacity of 1.5 to 5 kW. Made of various materials – stainless steel, carbon steel. The diameter of the heating element tube is 13 mm. The union M18, M20, M22. Heating element is tubular shaped with a nichrome spiral inside which has big electric resistance. The spiral is isolated from the cover by a compressed electro-insulating filler. The ends of the heating element are sealed. Contact rods are isolated from the cover by dielectric isolators. Usage of boiler heating elements – for industrial cooking boilers like KPE-40, KPE-60, KPE-100, KPE-125, KPE-160, KPE-250, KE-250, industrial electric boilers like KNE-25, KNE-50, KNE-100.
Heating elements for distillers are made of copper steel, and the mounting part is made of stainless steel and brass. Heaters are used in medical equipment – for the GK-100 sterilizer. Area of usage: water.
